China is a veritable casting production superpower, but it is not yet a powerhouse.

The roll industry is the main branch and component of the foundry industry. In recent years, according to incomplete statistics, the country produces about 1 million tons of casting rolls every year, accounting for no more than 5% of the total output of castings in the country, but it is this output of no more than 5%, but it meets the rolling production demand of more than 1 billion tons of rolled products in the country. As the national roll manufacturing industry colleagues keep pace with the times, actively carry out product and technology innovation, and make important contributions to the realization of the transformation and upgrading goal of China's iron and steel industry.

Rolls are known as the mother of rolled products, and every rolled product is rolled from rolls. Therefore, the quality of the roll is directly related to the surface quality of the rolled product, which restricts the operation rate of the rolling mill and the output of the rolling mill. In order to show that in recent years, domestic roll enterprises keep up with the pace of the new era, on the one hand, to meet the needs of iron and steel enterprises for product transformation, on the other hand, they have made a lot of efforts in green environmental protection and technological upgrading, aiming at the world trend of roll production, in the roll composition design, manufacturing process, testing methods, hole processing, use technology and maintenance, etc., comprehensively improve the roll manufacturing level and service life, meet the needs of steel rolling users, and realize product sublimation.

Although the roll industry is a small industry, but it is a technology-intensive, resource-intensive industry, the rolling industry hopes that the roll enterprises to create more professional, characteristic products, in the trend of the national economic development to obtain greater promotion.
