Operation of rubber refiner during rubber mixing

Stirring operation method of rubber refiner When the mill is stirred, raw rubber, intermediate rubber or mixed rubber should be added along one end of the large gear, and then various compounding agents should be added and stirred in the prescribed order of dosing. The batching method in the mixing process is divided into two types according to the rubber content in the formula: for materials with high raw rubber content, compounding agents are added in the middle of the rollers, the agitator is turned on, and the method of glue pumping and dosing is adopted to maintain the appropriate amount of accumulated rubber between the two rollers; if the raw rubber content is low, compounding agents are added at one end, and the method of changing rubber and dosing is adopted. Compounding agents with less rubber compound dosage and carbon black with high flying pollution are usually added in the form of parent rubber or paste.

Rubber refiner mixing generally adopts a one-stage mixing method, but if it is natural rubber, a large amount of synthetic rubber and a large amount of carbon black filling are used, a two-stage mixing method can be used to make the mixing of rubber and compounding agents more uniform. After all the compounding agents are added, they should be turned over to further mix the rubber. The methods of mixing rubber include manual rubber cutting and mechanical knife cutting. The manual cutting method generally uses left and right cutters, which are used for folding, twisting, triangular wrapping, and coiling. The mechanical cutter method is to install a mechanical cutter near the front roller, cut along the roller surface, make the glue fall into the plate, and then feed it into the roller chamber several times. After turning, loosen the roller gap (4~5mm), and then use the cutting method to supplement turning 2~3 times.
